Moose Jaw is a city which lies on the Moose Jaw River in Saskatchewan in Canada. The city covers a total area of 18.1 sq miles and has a population of 32,132 as per the 2006 census.
The city experiences a continental prairie climate with cold winters and mild summers. The city gets high rainfall in early spring and has high amount of sunlight all through the year making it ideal for agro industrial development.
Moose Jaw is named after the word Moosegaw which means 'warm breeze'. The city is well known among people as a place for retiring or touring. There are a number of small towns and farms which surround the city.
