Tourist Guide North Battleford
North Battleford is a city which is situated across the North Saskatchewan River in Canada. As per the census, the city had a population of 13,190 inhabitants in the year 2006. The city covers a total area of 12.95 sq miles and has a wonderful topography surrounded by many hills and lakes.
The Battleford River Valley is a perfect place to view wildlife and flowers as well as indulge in skiing, hiking or photography. The black soil in the region has a high moisture level making it apt for growing oats, flax, spring wheat, durum, mustard, lentils and canola.
The city has a pleasant climate with bright and sunny skies. The area is far away from regions of natural disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes and earthquakes.
