Tourist Guide Prince Albert
Prince Albert is situated on the southern banks of the Saskatchewan River in Canada. The city covers a total area of 65.68 sq miles and has an elevation of 1,444 feet. As per the 2006 census, the city had a population of 34,138 inhabitants. It is the 3rd largest city in the state and is also called as the 'Gateway to the North'.
The city offers several sports and recreational facilities. The city has a number of parks and is internationally well known for its Winter Festival held in the month of February as well as the Founders Day held in June each year.
The city experiences a continental climate which is cool and pleasant all through the year. The northwest winds make it pleasant with cool nights in the summer and sunny days in the winter.
