Prince Albert National Park lies 50 miles to the north of the city and has a rolling, forested landscape. The park is known for its 3 large lakes namely Crean, Kingsmere and Waskesiu. A wide variety of wildlife and birds are seen here such as red squirrels, wolf, deer, black bear, otters, ducks, fish, red fox, elk, white pelicans, bald eagles and more. The park offers numerous activities such as canoeing, swimming, fishing, boating, cycling, hiking, camping, picnicking, golfing, wildlife and bird watching.
