Weyburn: Attractions and more...
There are almost 220 stores and services and a public library to spend time in the city. There are over 15 churches in the city. One can also watch the hockey match played by the Weyburn Red Wings who have been Canadian Junior A Hockey League Champions in 1984 and 2005. There is also baseball team whose games are seen by a large number of audiences.
Weyburn is home to the World’s only curling museum, which is the Turner Curling Museum. There is Museum Soo Line Historical museum which has lots of historical collections to it. One can visit the T C Douglas Center which is for the performing arts housed in the former Weyburn Baptist Calvary Church. This center tributes the former Baptist minister and politician with a Tommy Douglas Memorabilia room.
