Tourist Guide Johnsons Crossing
The Alaska Highway is a very long stretch of road with many important halts alongside it. One of the most well known settlements of people is the Johnson’s Crossing. Its area starts from the historical mile marked 836 on the Alaska Highway. Its exact location is near Canol Road, which is the road at which the highway crosses the Teslin River. The river is always crowded with Arctic Greyling. This land has been used for business purposes and it is also famous for a Café that has been owned by an old Yukon family. The area is crucial when it comes to handling tourists as most of the tourists pass through this point of the highway at least once. The climate here is warm but it can be extremely chilly during the winters. Humidity is always maintained here. Trade in the form of hospitality is the main income grosser for this township. There are a number of cafés; restaurants, gas and petrol fill up stations that make the tourists wander to this region.
