The village of Mayo is built of many mountainous terrains and valleys that can be attractive to tourists as trekking spots. Mount Lorne is one such location. It is a high mountain but at the same time it is not steep and is used for mountain climbing. Many fairs are held at the foothill of this mountain during special days. Camping is also done here by enthusiasts.
