There are numerous beaches in Acapulco where one can enjoy sunbathing, jet skiing, parasailing and horse riding.
Barra Vieja, situated to the south east of Acapulco, is a place where one can sample the delicious, fresh sea food of the area and relax in hammocks on its beaches, far from crowded areas.
Barra de Coyuca is a place with a lagoon and restaurants with beaches.
Beauty treatment is available at Polita’s in the form of mud facials which is a common celebrity beauty ritual.
The main beach in downtown Acapulco is crowded and narrow, but Puerto Marquez is an old fishing village which has a number of seaside restaurants beside the beach.
Further down south is the Diamond beach where one can enjoy walking barefoot on the warm and clean sand.
Pie de la Cuesta is another fascinating beach where one can watch the sunset and sip coconut gin at the local eateries.
