Albuquerque is the largest city in the state of New Mexico in United States with a population of about 790,000 occupants. This appealing city represents a unique blend of ethnicity; it has a prominent state university and is close to natural attractions. In 2005, Albuquerque ranked the 33rd-largest city in the United States.
Albuquerque has an arid climate and it is normally sunny and dry. Summers are mild whereas winters are brief, but definite. The city usually receives very little rain and snow. Compared to the other parts of the country, the climate here is moderate. It is best to visit the city in spring and fall.
The city has regained much of its urban nature by the construction of new architecture and restoration of historic structures like the Kimo Theatre. It has several advanced companies and government institutions.
