When to visit

Baja California is a sunny place year round, though further south tends to warmer with the rise in temperature as lower altitudes have higher temperature. In central part of Baja, the climate from May to mid October is beyond any comfortable level and better to be avoided. The cities of San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas in the south of Baja California are popular for its perfect year round perfect weather, though rainfall tends to be highest in the month of September. Many plan their trips looking at the annual events here.

Else, some can visit this place to watch migratory birds and gray whales that travel here from December to April. The surfers can travel in central and south part of Baja in the summer months and it is recommended for snorkeling and scuba diving in the months of September and October.

For those who would like to visit the wildlife here can visit in the months of February to early April, having the greatest numbers of cetaceans in late March to early April.

Towards the south side, many can visit when it’s the best time for diving and snorkeling, for visiting the mountains and for wandering at many of the historic sites. The climate here is unpredictable, though it’s hot in summers and cold in winters.
