When to visit
The best time to visit Baja California Sur is the springtime, with the weather welcoming all irrespective of its climatic conditions. Between January and June, many can visit this place for its sunny skies and welcoming beaches. Early months are excellent for exploring the high mountains of Sierra Gigantica or Sierra Laguna. These mountain trails lead all to amazing vistas and some hidden beautiful waterfalls too. One can see the mountain pueblos are green from the summer rainfall through much of the year, remaining beautiful with springtime being all of blossoming flowers. Equestrians can enjoy their time enjoying the backcountry on a horseback and be lucky to come across a herd of deer. Baja California Sur is known to be one of the safest states in Mexico with springtime being the favorable time to visit. The month of March is favorable month for those who enjoy fishing, yellow fin being a favorite catch. Later in the year, diving peaks up with the water being easy for the California divers, to dive any time of the year. Many can visit this place for whale watching from December to late March, when whales are seen frequently all along the Pacific Coast.
