Guadalajara, a lively and vibrant city, is the capital of Jalisco state in Mexico. With a population of over three million, it is the second largest city in Mexico. A city with great architecture, it is an important cultural and historical centre as well as a commercial hub.
Guadalajara, situated at a high altitude, experiences a semi-arid climate. Winters are dominant throughout the year. With mild and dry winters, the city has a spring-like weather for most of the year.
The city developed rapidly after the Mexican revolution. Several plans were laid out for commercial centres and were implemented in the form of Expo Guadalajara, hotels, etc. In recent times, it has grown to become the second largest economy in Mexico.
