Guadalajara is well connected by different modes of transportation to different Mexican cities with a distinct network. Guadalajara is served by different means of Transport including flights, trains, buses and trolleybus. Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla International Airport also known as Guadalajara International airport has a wide and distinct network of flights that connects Guadalajara to different Mexican and American Cities. The Guadalajara Rail system named as Sistema de Tern Electrico Urbano offers light rail service within Guadalajara and in the nearby municipalities of Tlaquepaque and Zapopan. The trains running on the track here are electric and can run maximum speed of up to 70 km/h. Guadalajara also has a service of Macro bus where buses run in lanes and board only on specific stations. The trolleybus system in the city is operated since 1970s which is the most popular public transportation of Guadalajara and one can also find regular city buses t various place operated by different private companies.
