The Palacio de Gobierno is a paradise for the art lovers. The structure was built in the year 1774 in military style. Building’s design has frontage with balconies, and 11 windows lined in two rows that is crowned by a clock with a bullet hole. This is one of the most beautiful ancient buildings of the city, and currently is an executive branch of the government. During 1883 to 1949, this building was home of one of the painters, José Clemente Orozco. The fresco of priest Miguel Hidalgo, swathe in more than 400 meters on the wall. The painting shows, priest with a fiery torch and reflect the story of Mexican Revolution.
