Puerto Vallarta: Streets, Squares and Neighbourhoods

Malecon is a mile long oceanfront boardwalk which follows the beach and runs along the main street in downtown Puerto Vallarta in Mexico. Here, at Malecon, one can find an open air theater by the name Los Arcos or the Arches. Malecon’s beautiful sculptures designed by the local artists reflect Puerto Vallarta’s colorful culture. From here, the visitors can get a glimpse of the spectacular views of the sand and surf and even the sunset on Banderas Bay. There are lots of shops here at Malecon.
