When to visit
Jalisco can be visited any time of the year, though the month of September is more crowded due to its fiesta de Independencia. Guadalajara, the state capital, is worth visiting for its festive atmosphere full of culture and art. The city of Guadalajara offers numerous historic places, UNESCO sites and religious centers too. Throughout the state, one can experience mild weather, with the coastal region is hot. Some tourists visit this state from February to April, as this time it’s not much of a crowded place. The rainy season here is from June to October, when everything is lush green, beautiful and the temperature is rather cool. Irrespective of the weather, Jalisco is moderate year round. Along with Colima region, Jalisco has many beach breaks, occasional coral reef and river mouths. It largely depends upon the destinations and their significance for the tourists. So, in some places in Jalisco, there are fewer crowds, with people who tend to spend their vacation quietly, whereas in some places, there are a large number of crowds due to festive season being on.
