The National Palace is the seat of the federal executive in Mexico and is situated on the main square of Mexico City, the Plaza de la Constitucion. The entire east side of the square is occupied by the National Palace museum, which is built of reddish tezontle stone. This is also the official resident of the President and has many other offices too like the Federal Treasury and the National Archives office. This museum is 200 meters long.
