Pabelln Altavista is a small shopping centre in Mexico City and whilst it has no great claims to being an important destination for us touring folks it is a great place to get hold of anything that you might need, including from some of the major high-street stores.
There are on top of this quite adequate and even good places to eat, for beside the fast-food options, there are several proper restaurants evoking the flavour of numerous countries. El Buen Bife offers Argentine cuisine; Italianni's is filled with pasta and pizza lovers; Zermatt offers Swiss style sandwiches, and the Bistro Voilá delicacies inspired by Gallic gastronomy.
Surprisingly almost there is also a TGI Friday's and a Sushi Itto, so you need not feel to far from home though you are in the heart of Mexico. You will also find a cinema complex, a branch of Sanborn's and various other shops, boutiques and accessory stores.
