Nuevo León, Mexico has an area of 64,210 sq km and a population of about 4,199,300. Its capital is Monterrey. Attractions Nuevo León shares a short border with the USA and is bordered by the Mexican states of Coahuila, San Luis Potosí, and Tamaulipas. It can be divided into three main regions with barren, dry land, subtropical vegetation, and mountain ranges. Nuevo León was primarily inhabited by Nomadic tribes, after which it was occupied by the Spanish. The population here is mainly Mestizo (mixed indigenous and foreign ancestry).
