El Rey or Ruinas Del Rey is situated on Isla Cancun is nestled among the mangroves. These ancient ruins ate adjacent to the Hilton Resorts Golf course and entrance to the park is also a great experience. The Archaeologist estimate that the habitation at El Rey by the ancient Maya had occurred in 900 AD and continued till 1550 AD. The ruins also have at least 47 Maya structures which are minor in recognition and design.
