The warmest month of the year in Cancun is the month of July and the coldest month is January. The high season for the city is the dry winter months from the end of November through April when the weather is perfect. The peak months when the city has crowd is around the school holidays in the month of November, December and Spring Break. The summer season is too hot and the area is subject to warm afternoon and evening rains. During the month of September, it is likely to experience hurricane.
