El Faro is a small portion of beach which is quite near to Playa del Carmen south side. The sand is white sand and is coarser like salt. During the day, the sand of the beach gets hot and one needs to wear sandals when it is too hot. However, the edge of the water is cool. There are also sunglasses to avoid the glare of the sun and the white sand glare too.
