When to visit
Quintana Roo state is situated in the east side of the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico and is the most visited state. This place is home to many beaches, natural landscapes, culture and history. The weather here is warm for most of the surface, having occasional showers. In any season, this area is visited throughout the year by tourists. Tulum situated in this state is known as the most visited Mayan archeological site, whereas, some visit Cancun, home to beautiful white sand beaches, lots of water sports, top notch tourist resorts, nightlife and some good international restaurants. The months of April and May are considered as the pleasant time of the year to visit Quintana Roo. Moreover, the state cities are worth visiting for its numerous attractions any time of the year. it is recommended that tourist avoid the months from August to December, as hurricanes and tropical storms are common at this time of the year. September is thought the peak month.
