Ciudad Obregon city is nestled in southern Sonora in the heart of the Yaqui Valley. This is a flourishing town known as one of the most significant cities in Sonora. With fertile landscape ideal for agriculture and ranching, it’s also a famous business destination as well.
Once here, one can visit the Nainari Lagoon, an ideal place for outdoor sports, with perfect two piers for all kind aquatic activities like canoeing, sailing, skiing and also bicycle races, marathons and such challenging sport activities. One can even enjoy cold coconut water available at the nearby coconut stands along with other seasonal fruits like mangoes and strawberries.
There is also the Ostimuri Children’s Park and the Yaqui Museum worth of a visit to see along with family. The Cocorit House, the Alvaro Obregon Dam, the Huivulai Island and such interesting places are also worth of a visit whilst in Ciudad Obregon.
