When to visit
The most preferable months of the year to visit Sonora are the months of January, August and October. Many can visit the Sonoran desert garden in late March to mid April. Spring is also the best time to visit Sonora, as other time of the year; it tends to be too hot. The month of March is quite good too as the wildflowers are in their best form, blossoming. What’s more, this time, one can see the fields filled with orange colored Desert Mallows and with flowers scattered here and there of white, lavender and yellow colors. Sonora is an amazing state, home to golf courses, marinas, fishing places and many hotel resorts. This is a great place any time of the year for ecotourism, water sport activities and for hunting too. Overall, Sonora is an amazing destination perfect for family vacations. The state is a worth visit vacation destination for enjoying mountain climbing and sand boarding any time of the year.
