Reynosa city is situated in Tamaulipas, in Mexico. Travelers can enjoy their stay here visiting endless attractions and sights. There are many shopping promenades, museums and temples in the city center other than modern malls and historic landmarks.
This city is a beautiful place worth visiting for a leisurely stroll around, enjoying the town life, quite different to the industrial cities in north of Tamaulipas, where manufacturing and long working hours are the custom.
One can visit the Reynosa History Museum, initially a beautiful old house built with ashlar limestone dating back to the end of the 19th century. The Reynosa Cathedral is also worth visiting for its detailed neoclassic style and architectural design. There is also the Plaza of the Republic, Gateway to Mexico symbolizing the city geographic significance as a boundary between the United States and Mexico. Subsequently, one can visit the La Playita, a public pool and a park situated in the Rio Grande shores close to the Anzalduas Dam.
