Tourist Guide Isla Holbox
Isla Holbox is an island located in the Yucatan peninsula. The local population in this island is about 1,600 inhabitants. The occupants are mainly fishermen occupied with their trade. Still a virgin location, its natural beauty is soon gaining popularity.
Isla Holbox enjoys a tropical climate with rainfall even during the summers. Winters are relatively dry. The dry season lasts from February to May, while May to October witnesses the wet season. January often sees high levels of rainfall.
The descendants of the original families of Isla Holbox still reside there. There are no cars available here. The city’s primary means of transportation is the golf cart, and the main occupation, fishing.
