Isla Holbox is a place for wild natural adventure; it has tropical forests, lagoons, beaches, cenotes and rivers. Most of them are protected by the international laws. If you’re the kind of person who loves bird watching and loves being close to nature, you will have a ball. Tourism has recently developed and is still developing. People looking for pubs and casinos might just be disappointed as it does not cater much to such needs. It’s a natural habitat for many creatures and thus is mostly visited by nature lovers. The restaurants here serve mostly fish, other sea foods and fresh fruits.
