Cementerio Xoclan

Rating:

Cementerio Xoclan is the largest cemetery in Merida, Yucatan. This place includes even modern structures, including buildings which are provided for funerals and functionary offices other than a crematorium. This cemetery is the newest addition to many cemeteries in this city.  What’s more, this is the only cemetery that offers tombs to bury missing persons, and any unidentified persons remains are treated similar to others.  The site is worth visiting for its beautifully decorated architectural tomb artwork and to gain a solumn insight and respect for mexican culture.
