Museo de Arte Popular is a popular art museum situated in the historic house of Molina family in Merida, Yucatan. Dating back to the early 20th century, the museum building faces the Mejorada Park. This museum offers the famous artist works and handicrafts among ethical Mexican group and culture. Situated precisely in the cultural arts complex in Merida, this museum is a small modern art museum.
Having the original works contributed by many of the most famous artists of Venezuela, the museum is a must visit for any tourist. This museum offers displays of traditional clothing, pottery, jewelry, ceramics, masks and such items that are changed every four months.
This place has a gift shop too for visitors to buy something to take back home as a souvenir, as the art museum items displayed are not for sale. The director of this museum is Addy Rosa Cuaik, who greets visitors visiting the museum.
