Museo de Historia Natural of the Natural History Museum is situated in Merida, Yucatan. The museum offers exhibitions that are interesting to the eyes of the guests who visit from all around the world. These exhibitions fulfill the important task of understanding the past as well as the future of the planet and the beings in it that coexist. This museum is worth visiting for children to know the world existence and history as well.
The museum was created with the initiative and efforts taken by Herb Rodriguez Abraham, the administrator of C. Municipal from 1985 to 1987. He started the museum display in a building from the early 20th century, right next to the Zoo Park, namely the Centennial Park. Post new municipal administration, from 1987 to 1990, Abraham restructured the objective of this institute, and by 1991, he implemented in recreational and cultural promotions at schools, educational activities, special events, workshops, film clubs, courses and guided tours for all.
