Yucatán has a hot and humid climate, worth visiting for is beautiful palaces, 19th century mansions and old historic buildings. All this and more makes this White City one of the most visited destinations in the country irrespective of any season. Yucatán is at its best in September, as this is the end of the summer season and the rains start pouring in the month of October. This is the precise time when the destinations are less crowded and one can enjoy snorkeling too. What’s more, the time is when the hotels and such accommodation are less expensive to stay. For those who want to experience the rainy season and all the plants that grow, the months from October to January and from April to July are worth visiting. The high season to visit this state begins from December 20 continuing to Easter. This is the favorabled dry time for warm weather, for diving, snorkeling and fishing.
