Auburn is located in Lee County in Alabama, USA. This city is spread over an area of 140 sq km and has a population of 51,000 approximately. The Muscogee tribe was the first to settle in this region after the signing of the Treaty of Cusseta in 1832. It was incorporated as a city on 2 February 1839.
Auburn enjoys a tropical climate with hot and humid summers and mild winters. The terrain of the city basically comprises flat lands and plateaus with dense savannah vegetation. The topography is also characterized by coastal plains, hills, ranches and creeks.
