The Terrapin is a River on which there are some interesting rock formations. The foothills of the Appalachians have got some beautiful backdrops. The river is well-known for its shoals. There is also a wonderful freshwater spring flowing through the ground into the river.
The Cherokee Historical Museum
The Museum is open from Monday to Saturday from 08:30 to 16:30 hours and on Tuesday from 09:30 to 16:00 hours. It has a 50-year old doll collection and memorabilia of Grand Ole Opry Comedian Rod Brasfield. There are also displays of Civil War, shotguns, wagons, housewares, telephones and railroad artifacts.
The Centre Parks and Recreation Department
