DeSoto Caverns Park
Resting at foothills of ‘Appalachian Mountains’, DeSoto Caverns park proves to be one of the best destinations for the ones seeking educational experience and fun. At this park, guided tours with regards to the big cave of Alabama are offered. The main room is as high as 12 storey’s and bigger than football field. ‘Caverns’ have been decorated with loads of formations, thereby having made it one amongst America’s most resolute collections.
Green Hill Cemetery
In the year 1887, Greensboro went on to buy this land of 57 acres from Judge John Gilmer; that got laid out in the form of a cemetery. The 1st map in this regard was made by Dr. Gregory and son of his, i.e. Herbert. Later, in 1902, 07, and 08, city bought small piece of land from ‘Mrs. Mary C. Jones’. He was Commissioner of Southern Loan and Trust Company. As such, visitors would get to see something different in this cemetery.
