Elberta can be referred to as a town located in ‘Baldwin County, Alabama, US’. As per US Census Bureau, the area of Elberta on the whole is 1.9 sq. Km. Every portion of this area is land.

This place has been privileged enough for being a portion of ‘Baldwin County Public Schools’ system. Two schools are located in Elberta. They are: Elberta Middle School (4-8) and Elberta Elementary School (K-3). Students passing out from these schools continue to ‘Foley High school’ inside Foley.

Elberta is not all that old. It was discovered in the twentieth century by none other than a land company based in Chicago.

The year 1903 witnessed organization of Baldwin County Colonization Company. This led to the arrival of the first settlement in the year 1904.

The credit for discovering this region goes the farmers that had migrated to mid-west of America from Germany. The population as per 2000 census was 552.
