Eufaula can be referred to as a city located in ‘Barbour County, Alabama, US’. As per US Census Bureau, the area on the whole is 190.3 sq. Km; out of which 153.9 sq. Km is land and 36.4 sq. Km is water. Eufaula goes on to sit on reservoir known as ‘Walter F George Lake’. Locals call it ‘Lake Eufaula’. In the 18th century, a site was discovered along ‘Chattahoochee River’; which is called Eufaula today.
Once upon a time, this place was taken by 3 Creek Indian nomads of Muscogee Nation. The ones who had a dominating nature and were most open with regards to contacting whites were names ‘Eufaulas’. In the year 1823, various families from Georgia, in search of fertile agricultural land, went on to establish a white settlement on the permanent basis on this area’s high bluffs; thereby having adopted the name of the Creek Village.
