Eufaula National Wildlife Refuge
Eufaula National Wildlife Refuge, located on the northern side of Eufaula, can be referred to as one of the habitats for waterfowl and many other birds. Around 280 species have been found. They include bald eagle, American alligator, wood stork, and bald eagle. Tourists can go on and enjoy observation towers and nature trails for wildlife observation and bird watching.
Fendall Hall
The completion of Fendall Hall took place in the year 1860 by ‘Edward Young’. Moreover, it has been home for 5 generations of ‘Young family’. Highlights of the house include hand-painted murals, ‘Italian Marble Fireplaces’, and ‘Marble Entrance Floor’. Period furnishings which’re original as far as Fendall Hall is concerned are on the display. So, those craving for originality would have a great time over here.
Timings
Fendall Hall remains closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. On the other days, it opens at 10:00 and closes at 12:00. Then it again opens at 13:00 and closes at 16:00.
