The city od Fairhope was founded in the year 1894 in the month of November on site of previous Alabama City in the form of a ‘utopian single tax colony’ by none other than ‘Fairhope Industrial Association’.

Climate of Fairhope can be described as of ‘humid subtropical’ type. It happens to experience humid, hot summers and usually mild winters; that too, with high temperatures on an average ranging between 31.7 degree Celsius in summers and 59 degree Celsius in winters.
