Restaurants in Foley serve a variety of foods. The popular places to eat out are Arbys, Chick and Sea Foods and Applebees. There is a very good bowling alley here, called the Gulf Bowl.
Another place that is enjoyed a lot by the locals and the visitors is the Gulf Links Golf Club. There are some historic places around Foley that are worth a visit, the prominent ones being USS Alabama Battleship Comm and Bellingrath Gardens and Homes.
Elberta, Orange Beach, Summerdale, Gulf Shores and Silverhill are nearby cities with great tourist attractions. Foley is known for its events, it is host to events like Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival, Heritage Harbor days, Arbor Day and Christmas Parade.
Most of the events here are family oriented and they are enjoyed by the old and young equally. Events like the Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon festival have food, entertainment, farmers market and most importantly the Hot Air Balloons that fly throughout the day.
