Homewood Central Park is situated adjoining the Homewood Community Center. In 2007, the “Birmingham Parent Magazine” voted this park as the “Favorite Public Park.” Here, one can find several facilities like play meadow, cement walking trails, large playground, amphitheater, two tennis courts and six pavilions with picnic tables. The summer movie series “Friday Night Flicks” was shot in this park.
