Huntsville has some great places to relax, some of the most popular ones being Brahan Spring Recreation Center, Colonial Golf Club, Ice Complex and McLain Outdoor Adventures.
There are some good museums and galleries that are a must visit, as they are educative and highly informative. These historical sites and monuments include Historic Huntsville Depot, Burritt on the Mountain, A living Museum, Constitution Village and Earlyworks Hands- on History Museum.
Near by cities that have tourist destinations are Decatur, Chattanooga and Birmingham. Decatur is 20 miles towards the west, Chattanooga is 80 miles northeast and Birmingham is 85 miles southeast.
WEUP Black Arts Festival is very popular here. It has bought over 165 performers in Alabama A& M University’s Campus to perform.
This festival is being celebrated since past 18 years.
