Montgomery is the capital city of Alabama, USA in North America. It is also the county seat for the Montgomery County.

With a subtropical climate, Montgomery experiences an average annual temperature of 19°C. It has short, warm springs, hot and humid summers while autumn is mild. The winters are moderate having snowfall of 0.8 cm on average every year.

With a population of approximately 200,100 inhabitants, Montgomery is the most populous city of USA.

Montgomery has a notable history with it being the first capital of the Confederate States of America during the Civil War. Today, the Government, at the local, state and federal levels, plays a significant role in Montgomery’s economy. The increasing automobile industry has contributed to the city’s employment considerably in recent times.

All depends on which neighborhood you are in. Some parts of Montgomery are safe enough to walk alone at night. Some are not safe enough to sit on the porch in the daytime.
