The Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts was founded in 1930 by a group of artists and patrons as the Alabama Society of Fine Arts. This museum opened is the Wynton M. Blount Cultural Park in 1988. Since this time over one million visitors enjoyed the wide range of programs and exhibitions. The museum assures the future of one of the South’s premier cultural institutions.
