The Montgomery Biscuits are a minor league baseball team which is based in Montgomery in Alabama. This team is the Class AA affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays and plays in the Southern League. The team’s first season was in 2004 in Montgomery. They played in the Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium which had a capacity of 7,000 audience sitting arrangement. Their mascot is “Monty” an anthropomorphized buttermilk biscuit.
