The Montgomery Zoo was established in 1920 as a part of Oak Park. It further grew and thrived until 1960s. After eleven years, the Zoo was re-established and moved to north side of Montgomery. There are general tours where in one can get to learn about the animals kept in exhibit. This is a 90 minute tour with a member of the Education Department. The tours do not cover every animals in the Zoo.
