Tourist Guide Orange Beach

Orange Beach is a resort town located in Baldwin County in Alabama, USA, on the Gulf of Mexico and Perdido Bay. It covers an area of 29.5 sq km. Most of the city sits on a man-made island called Pleasure Island. It is Alabama’s second largest Gulf Coast resort and has a population of 3,700 inhabitants.

The city was founded by boat builders and fishermen. It is home to the largest Charter Fishing Fleet on the Gulf of Mexico.

It enjoys a semitropical climate and temperatures in summer can reach 35°C. Due to its proximity to the water, high humidity is often experienced. Winters are mild with temperatures fluctuating between 10°C–5°C. The Gulf Coast is prone to hurricanes in summer.

The beaches with its sparkling white sand are not to be missed. Also, there are coves and lagoons with are very popular for snorkelling and diving.

Despite the weather, summer is still the best time to visit Orange Beach.
