Oak Mountain State Park is the largest park in Alabama State. It is spread over an area of 9,940 acres. Here, one can find lush green hardwood bottoms and pine-studded ridges. There are facilities for horseback riding, backpacking, mountain bike trails, hiking, fishing, boating, swimming, picknicking, improved camping, pro shop with snack bar, golf and vacation cottages.
