Anchorage has a variety of food carts to be found on the streets including Nina’s in a box food wagon, with Chimidogs and Chimburgers, prepared Dominican-style. Or for a tradition hot dog, visit CHI Town’s Dog Pound, in Russian Jack Park.

But, if you prefer your dogs be made with reindeer meat, try Smitty’s Canadian Poutine for the native delight.  For ice cream, there’s Valley Creamery.  Idita’s food cart offers pizza by the slice and coffee.  For specialty coffees including Lattes, Espressos and Smoothies, try Loca-Mocha on Old Seward Highway.  They also offer a selection of cinnamon rolls, ham and cheese croissants and other baked good.
