Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, or the Alaska Legislature, is situated to the south west of Anchorage and was built in 1951.
The airport covers a total area of four thousand five hundred acres and has 3 runways.
The airport handles cargo, general aviation, commercial flights, air taxis and military flights as well.
The airport serves twenty one passenger and forty nine cargo destinations internationally as well as domestically.
